Cleansing is the first step in skincare. A quality gentle cleanser will clean the skin, remove any excess oil and dirt and regulate the sebum (an oil secreted by the sebaceous glands) of your skin. Your skin should feel clean and not dry or tight.
Exfoliation is not required every day, probably two to three times a week is sufficient but it is recommended as part of a routine. Our skin is in a constant state of rejuvenation and therefore exfoliating is is a necessary part in ridding the skin of old cells. This step is essential for keeping your skin radiant, smooth, and healthy.
The purpose of using a hydrator, or moisturiser, is to prevent dryness, keeping the skin soft, supple and more youthful.
Our hydrators have Hyaluronic Acid. The hyaluronic acid molecule can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water! The HA molecule is too large to penetrate the top layer of skin. So, it sets up shop on your skin’s surface and gets to work grabbing and holding moisture so your skin can absorb it and stay healthy and hydrated.
