Skin

We live in an age of selfies and social media, where both men and women find themselves under a lot of pressure to present a flawless skin to the world.

But it turns out that having a healthy skin is important for more than just creating a good impression.

Our skins most important role is being the first line of defence between our bodies and the outside world, protecting us from bacteria, viruses, pollution and chemical substances that we encounter in the world. Skin regulates body temperature, maintains fluid balance, and controls moisture loss.

Without a regular routine of cleaning, moisturising and protection our skin becomes more susceptible to clogging of pores, imperfections appearing and ages becoming more noticeable.
